Beaulieu House is a Children's Home and Short Breaks Service supporting children and young people with disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that challenge. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to begin a rewarding career in residential childcare while gaining recognised qualifications and valuable hands-on experience.
As an Apprentice Support Worker, you will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, helping children and young people to live fulfilling lives, achieve their goals, and enjoy a wide range of activities and experiences.
Every day is different. Our young people enjoy visits to attractions such as Legoland, Robin Hill, Blackgang Chine, Tapnell Farm, Marwell Zoo, Amazon World, Isle of Wight Zoo, and many more exciting adventures.
We are child-centred in our approach and tailor activities, support, and experiences around each young person's interests, strengths, and aspirations.
What You’ll Gain:
- Hands-on experience in a supportive care environment
- Full training and guidance to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Level 4
- A guaranteed permanent contract upon successful completion of the diploma

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting children and young people with daily routines and personal care
- Promoting independence and life skills
- Supporting children to access activities, education, and community opportunities
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and development
- Assisting with medical and health-related needs following training
- Creating positive memories and enjoyable experiences for young people
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning

Contract Details
- Fixed-term apprenticeship contract for 2 years
