Variable hours per week for the winter season

We are seeking a flexible retail assistant to join the team at Britain's first purpose built dinosaur museum, Dinosaur Isle Museum, Sandown. The role is in front of house, meeting customers, taking admission payments and handling retail sales. The successful candidate will have some retail experience preferably in a heritage setting, and must be prepared to work weekends.

Other duties will include assisting with stock replenishment and meeting and greeting visitors to the museum. The appointee will need to be qualified to at least GCSE level including Maths and English, must be able to operate an electronic till, have IT skills and be able to use the telephone system.
