Support Worker Mobile Nights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Support Worker (Mobile Nights) to join our dedicated Community Reablement & Outreach Team.
This rewarding role involves providing person-centred support to adults living in their own homes across the Isle of Wight during night hours. As part of our Mobile Nights service, you will support people to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes, delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity, choice and wellbeing at all times.
You will provide a range of support including personal care, assistance with washing, dressing and toileting, support with nutrition and hydration, moving and handling, continence care, and medication support where appropriate. You will work closely with people receiving support, their families, colleagues and partner agencies to ensure individual needs and outcomes are achieved.
This role requires someone who is compassionate, reliable and able to work confidently both independently and as part of a small team. During night shifts, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate electronic records, responding to changing situations, and making professional decisions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people we support. You may also liaise with health and social care professionals, NHS services and emergency services when required.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a caring and person-centred approach.
- Can communicate effectively with empathy and sensitivity.
- Are reliable, motivated and able to work independently.
- Have experience of supporting adults with care and support needs or are willing to develop their skills within a supportive team.
- Can maintain accurate electronic records.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use.

This post is based island-wide, with an office base in Newport, and involves working a rostered night shift pattern.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are essential requirements of the role.
