We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Bursar to join our team and support the strategic and operational management of the St Boniface Federation. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the school’s financial management.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Headteacher and School Business Manager.

The post will require one day per week in each of the schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the school’s financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies
  • Support the Executive Headteacher and Governors with reporting

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Proven experience in financial management and budgeting
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of school finance systems and education sector regulations (desirable)
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
