Little Stars Preschool, part of the Freshwater & Yarmouth CE Primary School Federation, is looking for a skilled, nurturing and enthusiastic Room Lead to join our warm and caring early years team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our 3–4 year old room, shaping high-quality provision that supports every child to thrive.

About the Role

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development
  • Can lead a room team with confidence, warmth and professionalism
  • Creates an inclusive, stimulating and well-organised learning environment
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and follows KCSIE guidance at all times
  • Is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
  • Has a level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Has GCSE C/Level 4 or above in both English and Mathematics

As Room Lead, you will oversee daily practice, ensure high-quality interactions, support planning and assessment, and model excellent early years pedagogy.
