An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide maternity support for a 1-year fixed term contract within the Isle of Wight Council’s Waste and Recycling team.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious person with a passion for project management who can deliver a range of projects across the council’s contracted waste management services. This is a fast paced and busy environment. The successful candidate will be solution focused, who has a flexible approach to managing a diverse workload with excellent communication skills.

 

You will provide support on matters relating to programme and project management; business needs and service planning; and collaborate with stakeholders across the private and public sectors to deliver first class support for the island’s waste and recycling services. You will have proven experience of successfully managing and delivering projects using a recognised framework.

The role is agile in nature and will require both remote working and a face-to-face presence here on the Isle of Wight. We are happy to discuss the logistics of this role at interview.
