Barnardo's Isle of Wight 0-19 Integrated Early Help service are seeking to appoint two full timeFamily Support Workers(project worker 2)

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver Early Help Family Support to families across the Island.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children and families.
  • Educated to an NVQ level 3 equivalent in education, childcare, or social care
  • Experience of safeguarding and Early Help
  • Ability to work independently and ability to manage their own caseload
  • Experience of delivering evidence based interventions

Above all they will be passionate about improving the life chances for our most vulnerable children and families.

We offer a hybrid model of working, therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their working day between home, family visits and our Family Hub's situated across the Island.

Consideration would be given to candidates wishing to work condensed hours or between 30-37 hours per week.

Starting salary £27,300 FTE

It is essential that applicants have access to their own vehicle for which mileage will be paid.
